2nd Annual Hope Rising Gospel Celebration
Kingdom Connections a subsidiary of Get Write Entertainment is a Jersey City based nonprofit org that was established to provide hope, healing and serve the community. Every year we produce a free outdoor live gospel concert to minister and reach people in the community through songs, praise and worship. Kareem Jones and Tony Williams, both Jersey City residents with deep ties to the community, have been creating events filled with good wholesome entertainment since 2011. Most recently the Juneteenth Unity Ride and Festival at Audubon Park, in Jersey City June 2020,2021 and 2022.
Our 2nd annual Hope Rising Gospel Concert which will be held outdoors at The Mary McLeod Bethune Park Promenade on Saturday, August 20th, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Live music, prayer, trivia, testimonies and vendors are all scheduled to be included in this amazing event that is free to the public. We will have information booths and resources available for residents in the categories listed below:
Domestic Violence
Abortion Alternatives
Homelessness
Affordable/Low Income Housing
Drug Abuse
Women’s Shelter
Job Placement Services
HIV/STD Testing
Care packages with basic necessities (toothbrush, socks, body wipes, travel soap, bottled water, hand sanitizer, etc)
These have certainly been challenging times of late, but there is nothing quite
like the power of Gospel Music to help our community to remember God’s Omnipotent Power and the fact that He is always in control, even in the most trying times, always and forever… No exceptions!!!
It is our prayer that the various churches, ministries and organizations throughout Jersey City can unite through music & message to impact our community in a positive way. We are anticipating this will be a life-changing event for everyone in attendance.
