SYNOPSIS
Seeking actors for stageplay production entitled "Among The Baggage" about a young woman who has to fight to prove she is worthy of God's mercy and grace despite her tumultuous past.
CHARACTER SIDES
Pastor Jarrod
A young, extremely humble “new” Pastor. He has compassion on Hiya and wants to help her; He’s a Mediator between her and Ma B. (There’s no official connection with him and Hiya, but their chemistry is great together)

A young lady who lives a “street life;” Nice, but initially has her guard up due to pain from her past and current life. (There’s no official connection with her and Jarrod, but their chemistry is great together)

Ma B.
he oldest member of the church. In her late 60’s/early 70’s. Very inconsiderate on the surface to due past experiences. Loves her church, but would rather have her old Pastor rather than the new “young” Pastor.

You can also choose and print the corresponding sides for the character you will be reading for... All auditions will be video taped. If auditioning for a singing role please be prepared to render a few bars of the selection that will be provided to you. Accompaniment will be provided.
